What is the best text you've ever studied in school, and why?
I genuinely enjoyed studying Station Eleven by Emily St John Mandel in Year 12. I think in order to enjoy studying a book, you have to first enjoy reading it, and I found Station Eleven to be a really easy and interesting read. The speculative fiction genre constructed a world that wasn't too far from ours, which made the story relatable and digestible for a contemporary reader like myself.
